This will be told in a terribly informal format, because it is actually a comic. As I do not possess any artistic skills, it was hard for me to take myself seriously when faced with stick figures, and as a result, while this is historically accurate, I do not recommend quoting any of it.
Founders Of The Factions:
Firestarters:
Flaire; good-natured, kindhearted, benevolent
Sonambulists:
Walker; knowledge-seeker
One Day:
Flaire & Walker: ...hm. magical crystals would add a lot to our world. let us create some.
and so the
Erosion (brown-colored)
and
Fatis Mirajin (amethyst-colored)
were born.
Flaire took the Fatis Mirajin to heal tainted things.
and Walker took the Erosion in order to Learn about things.
BUT THEN.
The Court Founder:
Kiet (cat-being; roughly the equivalent of anime's 'catgirls' or 'catboys')
Kaige; Elegant, from the Firestarters
said:
You are all idiots. WE SHALL MAKE A NEW FACTION AND IT SHALL BE ALL NEUTRAL AND STUFFS.
-steal Fatis Mirajin-
-runs-
So, young Sonambulist Mechanic, Drachen, said:
ROBOTS ARE GOOD.
-separate-
-steal Erosion-
-runs-
and so The Silent Rose was born.
Walker & Flaire:
-blink- -blink
WE MUST DECLARE WAR RAWWWR.
'twas Sonambulists and Firestarters
AGAINST
The Court and the Silent Rose.

I want to know why they declared war on each other, and not the factions that stole their magic crystals. The reason may be obvious because the Sonambulists like books and the Firestarters don't, and the characters that I've been introduced to seem to be like-minded in that they want their magic crystals back before they destroy all knowledge in the world.
Also, how long ago was this?

Also, he is clockwork because he was kidnapped and then TRANSFORMED. I forget the details of this. It's probably on his character profile page.

Walker; Awesomeness bound into a single entitiy, pure awesome manifested into human form, the complete tales of awesome wound into the timeline of Walker's life
One Day:
Flaire & Walker: Lets go beat up some of those traitorous dogs!
and so the
Court
and
Silent Rose
Started plotting evily.
Kaige took the Fatis Mirajin away to a place and started making robots.
and Drachen took the Erosion away to make evil robots.
BUT THEN.
The Court Founder:

Kaige; Big jerk, formerly from the Firestarters

-sits and watches-
So, young Sonambulist Mechanic, Drachen, now Silent Rose, said:

-Blows shit up-
-runs to Kaige -
"Lets trade!"
And they did, because Erosion is more shiny and Drachen wanted Fatis Mirajin
Walker & Flaire:
-blink- -blink-
TONIGHT WE DINE AT ARBY'S!
'twas Sonambulists and Firestarters
AGAINST
The Silent Rose.
And then Flaire got the Fatis Mirajin back, and all was well.
Until a long, long time later, when the Firestarters were like "WE HATE KNOWLEDGE! IT SCARES OUR PUNY MINDS!"
-Declares war on Sonambulists-
And in the future their asses will be KICKED!
