So what would the basic game play be? We have cutscenes and some minigames, but how would the basics work? What do people think?

wasd with the mouse to look around. Definitely a quest system. And spells/abilites should be able to be bound to keys, because pressing zxcv, rt, and f to cast spells makes too much sense. Some spells should also require combo's.

I think more RPGish? There'd be a Random Encounter thing when on the main map as well, like in Final Fantasy.

So, say, you would enter the game, create a character (single), and then what? After the tutorial, depending on which faction you chose, and then ...?
We need a plot.
