Andromache wheeled the stack of crates towards the north end of the building, at its current rate it would be 3 picoseconds ahead of schedule, so it slowed down a bit. When it reached the magnocarrier it placed its load right where the load was supposed to be. Andromache turned to go to the closest available job, but was hailed by a human at the entrance.
The human stood at exactly 5’6’’, and Andromache appreciated that, it may explain why Andromache listened to the human without the human following proper regulation by issuing a job at the docking bay. The human was bald, and wore framed pieces of glass in front of his eyes. Andromache wondered if there was a picture inside it, concealing the human’s real eyes. Andromache searched the databases and found that they were corrective lenses, because humans had not developed the proper operating procedure for correcting their eyes permanently.
Andromache continued heading toward the man, having so far only got half an inch while observing the man’s figure. When he reached the man he ordered Andromache to follow him to help him unload some cargo from his carrier. The man’s shipment was replacement parts, and Andromache knew exactly where to put them, because he had repaired other robots before. It was not proper protocol to repair oneself, because if there was damage to the Artificial Cortex you wouldn’t know what was wrong with you.
After Andromache had finished helping the clumsy human unload his carrier, the human gave him a Bronze sphere. “It’s a puzzle” The man said to him 'when you solve it you’ll find something useful inside”. Andromache stored the sphere in his belt and continued onto his next job.
