Some random thoughts you have while roleplaying that you think would be impolite on the actual board.
For example: Because talking on the "During the battle" board is in italics, every time The Shadow speaks it's like he's a, merchant of death or something, which makes it seem both much creepier and much cooler.

Heh, yeah. I wish I could claim that was an original idea.

If this were an AIM conversation, I would respond with But since this is a forum, I feel awkward with one-word answers as well as just-emoticon answers. So I wrote this. --- Edit: Another thought about roleplaying: I apologize for my short posts. Seneka is a jerk, and that's about the extent of it. There is no use for long-winded explanations.

Another note; when Seneka talks in italics, it makes him sound like even more of a jerk. Hmm.

When General Roderick and High-Commander Kpsydor talk in italics, it makes them seem important.

Conclusion: When people talk in italics, it makes them seem more of themselves!

When General Roderick and High-Commander Kpsydor talk in italics, it makes them seem important. I didn't really get that impression. Edit: basically, my opinion is that italics can be useful, but should only be used when you're really trying to get a point across so that they can still be effective.

I usually use bold and underlines or just plain description for emphasis. I find making speech stand out is an easy way to separate it and thought quotes. ((Though some people us ' for thoughts, or say ___ thought or _____ said after every change.))

What I usually do is bold when someone is pissed or loud, italics for certain speech types or thoughts, and whatever ""s are called to denote speech. I don't really use underlines, usually.

Typing patterns are fun, see! This is how we learn English! This may be a bad thing or a good thing, depending on how you look at it.

I don't think the internet is a good place to get English lessons. In fact, I know it isn't a good place for that purpose.

Also, whatever happened to Scout and Snow?

Scout is making 3D art (at the moment, I'm guessing), and Snow dropped off the face of the earth, as far as I can tell.

hmmdedum. Roleplaying seems to have halted, has anyone else noticed? Did I affect this change in some obscure way, I wonder?
