Jack saw this as the perfect opportunity. With its owner dead there was no one to protect the items in the magic shop. And Jack was sure the firestarters could benefit from the potions Howl had made prior to his death. He waited until the cover of darkness And climbed into the building through the roof. He was silent as the night, as he crept through the dark building. He saw what he was looking for, the storeroom. As silently as possible he began filling his backpack with potions.

"What are you doing in my shop." An angry voice resonates through the storeroom, and the room begins to shake. The door and metal-grated window both close and latch themselves shut. "I suggest you put those back before something breaks."

Jack had not anticipated this. He quickly drew the Nex Complexo from his coat pocket. He ran at the door and drove his sword into it. He then quickly extend it to it's full length punching a hole in the door. He preceded to work his sword upward in a can opener fashion and began cutting a hole through.

"I hope you know that that door is reinforced with solid metal, and even if your small physique allows you to escape through it, there are more jars in the hall that may not... react well with someone taking my magic." When the voice ends, the shaking gets a bit more harsh, and a jar falls from the top of a shelf. It shatters when it hits the ground, and thunder can now be heard from outside. "I hope you know that very expensive reagents went into making these potions, and I would appreciate it if you wouldn't make me waste them on a pest like you."

"Whoever you are, you underestimate me. You underestimate me greatly," Jacks eyes flash red like demon fire. He wrenches upward with the Nex Complexo and there is a loud whining noise as the metal is wrenched in two. He dashes out of the room faster than any human should be able to.

A reverberating sigh is heard throughout the halls "You know, ghosts get to do fun things when they haunt a building, keep running and you'll find out what."
The hallway gets caught in an infinite loop, having no windows or doors. "Put the bag down and then you'll be allowed to leave."

"A ghost huh? Then I think I have a surprise for you," Jack raises the Nex Complexo into the air and chants a strange incantation. The ghost feels a clawed hand begin to grip its torso. "Normally the demon that resides within this blade can do no direct harm. However when it comes to spirits, that is another story,"

"How unfortunate, you don't know much about ghosts, do you? If you 'kill' me, you're still going to be trapped in here" A few jars appear above the midget's head. "A bit of Iron-oxide, an ounce of fire, and a relentless blizzard, you don't want these to fall, do you?"

((Jack is 5'6", he's not a midget just a little smaller than normal)) "It seems you have forced my hand. It's a shame I was saving this scroll for a more dire situation. But at this point I'd hate to just let you win," Jack pulled out a small scroll of paper from his pack. He opened it up and placed his palm on it's center, as quickly as he could. He promptly vanishes in a puff of purple smoke.

"That's quite interesting..." Howl stared at the jars that had just fallen to the ground after the tiny one had disappeared in smoke. "It may have something to do with his pathetic scroll, maybe I should do a bit of research on that" Howl though. He then preceded to pick up all the shards of glass that had accumulated from all the used jars and placed them together so they molded back together.
"Or maybe the fact that these bottles are enchanted might have something to do with it." He thought as he carried the stolen and empty jars back to the storage room.

((Also, the shop has only one window on the roof, and you would be frozen in time if you broke it. There is no storeroom, there is the display room and the rest is Howl's house. I have already drawn booby traps in my unfinished drawing of Howl's display room. Swords don't break metal. Since when is your sword possessed by a demon? I think that would have been a reasonable point to put on your character sheet. Along with a magic scroll.
I'd also like to laugh at the fact that I still have my magic jars.))

((I sort of pulled the demon thing out of my ass. I have been kind of leading up to it but it hasn't been directly stated. I did not break the metal I tore it in two, I didn't see an issue with it seeing as my sword is a powerful magic artifact. As for the teleport scroll that is under my list of items.))
